House of Hazards Unblocked: Chores Have Never Been This Hostile

Drink coffee. Brush teeth. Water the plants. Get the mail. Return it to the basket. Five tasks. Sounds manageable. But in House of Hazards Unblocked, up to 3 other players control the house's traps and are actively trying to stop you with falling ceiling lights, flying toast, swinging cabinets, and misfiring taps. New Eich Games released this in September 2020. Spent 30 minutes on it with two players and lost count of how many times the toaster ended a run at the worst moment. Same studio behind Rooftop Snipers. Same chaotic local energy.

One Player Completes Tasks, Everyone Else Ruins Them

Each round, one player tries to complete 5 household tasks in order. The other players have buttons assigned to household hazards: they watch the runner and trigger traps at the perfect moment to cause maximum chaos. Whoever finishes first wins. After each round, a Wheel of Fortune spins to add random twists like inverted controls or extra obstacles. New characters unlock as you progress. Time Trial mode lets solo players practice the layout before going multiplayer.

Finishing Tasks Before the House Destroys You

Learn hazard timing: Each trap has a delay between activation and effect. The toaster fires bread about half a second after the key press. Learning these delays lets you dodge things you can't even see coming yet.
Move unpredictably: Trap players watch your movement patterns. If you always take the same path to each task, you become predictable. Vary your route.
Rush tasks in bursts: Don't move at a constant pace. Sprint between hazard zones, pause to let active traps reset, then sprint again. Constant movement makes you easier to target.
Time Trial first: Play Time Trial solo before multiplayer. Learning where each task is and the fastest route between them is worth more than raw reaction speed when traps start flying.
Use the Wheel twists: When inverted controls hit other players too, use that chaos window to complete a task while everyone else is readjusting.

House of Hazards was created by New Eich Games, the same studio behind Rooftop Snipers, Getaway Shootout, and Tube Jumpers. Released September 2020 as a free HTML5 browser game, updated with new features in May 2022. New Eich Games' entire catalog follows the same formula: minimal controls, local multiplayer chaos, short rounds.

Common Questions

Up to 4 players can play simultaneously on one keyboard. You can also play solo in Time Trial mode to practice. There is no online multiplayer: all players share the same keyboard and screen.
